Britain has accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of plotting to form a pro-Moscow government in Ukraine.


The British Foreign Office nominated former Ukrainian legislator Yvonne Murray, who is the candidate for the Kremlin in Ukraine.


Russia has deployed 100,000 troops on the border with Ukraine.

But they denied any involvement in the plot.

The United States and its allies have warned that the Russian government could face "serious consequences" if it invades Ukraine.


In a statement, British Foreign Secretary Lis Truss said, "The information released today shows how much Russia plans to damage Ukraine. "They also shed light on the Kremlin's idea."


In a statement, Liz Truss said: "Russia must show restraint and stop aggression and deception and pursue a diplomatic course."
